Delete a Property Record

Property records can be deleted from the Location & Details screen, but only if all associations to parcels have been removed and any associated contacts have also been removed. To access the property you wish to delete, navigate to the record using the Search or Browse function, or by clicking on Active Properties from the Portfolio Statistics section on the dashboard and selecting the appropriate record.

Process:

  1. Confirm that there are no parcel records, including any that may be inactive by checking the Inactive option.
  2. From the default Property page, click on the Property Info  link in the Navigation Sidebar.
  3. Scroll down to confirm there are no Contacts associated with the property. If contacts are present, use the trash can icon to remove them from the property. Note, this will not delete the contact.
  4. Click on the Delete button to delete the property record. A warning will appear asking you to confirm that you wish to permanently delete the record.
  5. After clicking on the Delete button, you will be taken to the Property Search screen, and a message will be displayed confirming that the record has been deleted.
